Santa Teresa Mountain Wilderness – Cottonwood Trail (#66) Explore & Maintain
Join Wild Arizona in the beautiful, remote Santa Teresa Mountain Wilderness as we maintain the beautiful Cottonwood Trail (#66). Saturday work will include improving tread, brushing the trail corridor, and removing fallen trees from the trail. We will car camp nearby and day hike to the work area each day. A group dinner will be provided Saturday night. Sunday will consist of exploring the trail and perhaps light brushing.

Chiricahua Mountains – Mormon Ridge/Mormon Canyon – Trail Restoration
This trail maintenance project will focus on the Mormon Canyon and Mormon Ridge trails in the Chiricahua Mountains. As of last summer the trails had intermittent deadfall and tread issues near the drainage bottom. The Ridge trail mostly needs brushing and crosscut work, with some solid stretches that don't need much work between the problem areas. Participants should be in moderate condition and capable of hiking on maintained FS trails carrying tools, equipment, and personal supplies throughout the day. All…

The Chiricahua Mountains have had multiple large fires in the past few years and subsequent monsoons have ravished the landscape.
