The Friends of the Huachuca Mountains provides educational opportunities and enhanced awareness of the natural and cultural history of the Huachuca Mountains and Canyons and serves as a bridge to community involvement. The Friends of the Huachuca Mountains staffs and manages the Carr House Interpretive Center in Carr Canyon outside of Sierra Vista. Carr House is open on Saturday and Sundays from 9:00 until 4:00, April through October of each year. We host a speakers series each summer. The programs begin at 1:30 every other Sunday.
