Planting new natives after the growth from the monsoon rains and weeding out the invasive Johnson grass. We will meet-up at the Paton Center for Hummingbirds (477 Pennsylvania Ave. Patagonia, AZ 85624) at 8am and start working at the nearby Johnston Parcel following a short demonstration.

Tucson Audubon is restoring a section of the Sonoita Creek in Patagonia and we will be planting native plants and removing invasive grass in this section of creek known as the “Johnston Parcel.” If you have specific questions about the restoration work being done at the Johnston Parcel please email Andy Bennett at abennett@tucsonaudubon.org.
