Catalina State Park Buffelgrass Removal

Start the New Year with a gift to the Sonoran Desert- your hard work and enthusiasm to Save Our Saguaros! We will be removing invasive and flammable buffelgrass on a hillside loaded with huge saguaros. This is a re-dig and we are already seeing a ton of native grasses and shrubs moving back into the area. This is what nature can do with a little help!

Where: Equestrian Center, Catalina State Park
Wear: Weather appropriate work clothes and hiking shoes/boots, sun protection
Bring: 2 liters of water, snacks, personal work gloves (if preferred)

We will supply tools, work gloves and instruction.
Prepare to hike 30 minutes and do a little desert bushwhacking at the end.
Temperatures should be perfect for digging!
