Arizona Trail Maintenance in Oracle State Park

November 17 @ 8:00 am - 11:30 am

Our main trail work involves brushing overgrowth and improving drainage to maintain a sustainable tread for hikers, bikers, and equestrian riders. Due to heavy summer rains, we will be removing vegetation (focusing on catclaw) and improving drainage south of the Hwy 77 parking area at Tiger Mine Road. Please dress defensively (long pants, long sleeves, gloves). Hard hats and tools will be provided by the Arizona Trail Association. Volunteers will provide their own daypack with water, sunscreen, and salty snack (if desired). Meet up at Hwy 77 and Tiger Mine Road at 8 a.m.
