Box Camp Trail on Catalina Mtn – Volunteer Event

Where: Box Camp Trailhead (please carpool if possible)
What: Tread repair on the Box Camp Trail, approximately 1.2 miles from the trailhead
Why: To help address impacts from the Bighorn Fire, the National Forest Foundation (NFF) launched the Southern Arizona Forest Fund, in part to raise money to repair the damage to the local trail network and ultimately improve resource conditions as well as safety and access. https://www.nationalforests.org/regional-programs/southernrockies/southern-arizona-forest-fund
Supported by the Coronado National Forest and NFF, this volunteer event will repair erosion damage to the trail.
Please consider joining this event to help rebuild our trail network.
What to Bring:
Gloves
Safety glasses or sunglasses (We will have extras available)
Hardhat (We will have extras available)
Boots or closed toed shoes
Long pants
Sun protection
Lunch
3 liters of water (minimum)
All tools will be supplied
