Buffelgrass Removal 50 Year Trail

We will hike the 50 Year Trail in Catalina State Park and re-dig areas from last year that have re-sprouted. This hike may involve rocky terrain, but should be suitable for most volunteers.
When: Sat. November 3rd, 8am-12noon
Where: Meet at the Equestrian Center Parking lot, please park to the left of the corrals
Wear: Long pants, sturdy shoes/boots, sun protection (hat, long sleeve shirt, sunscreen)
Bring: Refillable water bottle or two, snacks, hiking pole (if desired)
We provide: Work gloves, digging tools, instruction. Volunteers get into the park for free!
