Buffelgrass Removal Catalina State Park
January 4, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
FreeIf you are like me, you have been busy, busy, busy over the last couple of weeks. Maybe you have been skipping the gym, sitting on airplanes, or eating just a little too much. All of the hustle and bustle will be over by Jan. 4th, and you can start with those New Year’s resolutions- de-stress, exercise more, and get outdoors! Put our next buffelgrass removal event on your calendar now.
What: Dig out invasive Buffelgrass near the 50 Year Trail. Hike time will be approx. 30 minutes.
When: Sat. Jan. 4th, 8-12 noon
Where: Equestrian Center parking lot (park on left side by horse corrals, meet at picnic tables)
Wear: Sturdy shoes, long pants, hats, weather appropriate outerwear
Bring: 2 liters of water, a snack
Extra: Win a baby saguaro in our raffle! Get into the park for free.
We supply digging tools and work gloves. Please let me know if you plan to attend so that I bring the correct number of tools. We cannot accommodate late-comers, but you can leave early if you need to.
Spend a morning, save a saguaro!
