Buffelgrass Removal Catalina State Park
January 4, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free
If you are like me, you have been busy, busy, busy over the last couple of weeks. Maybe you have been skipping the gym, sitting on airplanes, or eating just a little too much. All of the hustle and bustle will be over by Jan. 4th, and you can start with those New Year’s resolutions- de-stress, exercise more, and get outdoors! Put our next buffelgrass removal event on your calendar now.
What: Dig out invasive Buffelgrass near the 50 Year Trail. Hike time will be approx. 30 minutes.
When: Sat. Jan. 4th, 8-12 noon
Where: Equestrian Center parking lot (park on left side by horse corrals, meet at picnic tables)
Wear: Sturdy shoes, long pants, hats, weather appropriate outerwear
Bring: 2 liters of water, a snack
Extra: Win a baby saguaro in our raffle! Get into the park for free.
We supply digging tools and work gloves. Please let me know if you plan to attend so that I bring the correct number of tools. We cannot accommodate late-comers, but you can leave early if you need to.
Spend a morning, save a saguaro!
