CASA Adopt-a-Crag 13: Windy Point, Mt. Lemmon

Welcome to CASA’s Adopt a Crag 13: Windy Point
When: Sunday, November 5 – 9:00am – 2:00pm
Where: Windy Point Parking lot
Why: Windy Point is the epicenter of climbing on Mt Lemmon. Heavily used by climbers, tourists and others, it benefits from regular cleaning and erosion stabilization. Through our adoption of this area, CASA has committed to steward and protect these resources from user impact.
We will be cleaning up litter, as well as performing erosion control (building check steps and stabilizing loose banks).
What to Bring:
Gloves (CASA will have some available if you do not)
Safety glasses or sunglasses (CASA will have some available if you do not)
Hardhat or climbing helmet
Boots or closed toed shoes
Long pants
Sun protection
Lunch
4 liters of water per (minimum)
Safety:
Please note dogs are not permitted on the project site.
