SAVE OUR SAGUAROS – Catalina State Park Buffel Slayers

Description: Help us rid Catalina State Park of invasive buffelgrass and “Save Our Saguaros” and wildflowers! Get into the park for free and enjoy outstanding views of Pusch Ridge. The Sonoran Desert that we all love will disappear without your help!
Meeting Location: The Equestrian Center and Trailhead for the 50 Year Trail.
Buffelgrass pull location: 11570 N Oracle, ORO VALLEY, AZ 85737
Volunteers: 1 registered out of a total capacity of 35
Tools Provided: pick-mattocks, work gloves
Bring: 2 liters of water, snack, sunscreen
Wear: Weather appropriate work clothes, sturdy boots/shoes
Additional Information: Park on the left side of the corrals and meet us at the picnic tables near the trailhead. Latecomers will not be able to access digging tools or find the site where we will be working. Please sign up in advance so that we will bring the appropriate number of tools.
