SAVE OUR SAGUAROS – Catalina State Park Buffel Slayers

Description: We will hike 15 minutes up a sandy wash and dig in a gently sloping area that has been cleared before. We will then move on to nearby new sites.
Meeting Location: Flycatcher Ramada in the Group Area. Make sure to mention Buffelgrass to get into the park for free and to get directions, if needed.
Buffelgrass pull location: 11570 N Oracle, ORO VALLEY, AZ 85737
Volunteers: 6 registered out of a total capacity of 35
Tools Provided: pick-mattocks, work gloves
Bring: 2 liters of water, snack
Wear: Weather appropriate work clothes, sturdy boots/shoes
Additional Information: Please sign up to give us an accurate number of tools to bring. Please plan to be on time as latecomers will not know where we are working and will not have a chance to acquire tools at the meeting place.
