Catalina State Park Buffelgrass Removal

February 4 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

It is time to plan for February “Save Our Saguaros” Month, a yearly Tucson-wide event. The weather is amazing and we will be raffling a baby saguaro from the Pima County Native Plants Nursery. Plus, for anyone who has joined us for 5 events, we will have a colorful Buffel Slayers logo T-shirt. Get into the Park for free!

Where: Meet at the Equestrian Center. Park by the corrals, meet at the picnic area
Wear: Long pants, long-sleeves, sturdy shoes/boots, sun hats, light jacket
Bring: 2 bottles of water, snacks, sunscreen

We will supply tools and instruction. We have work gloves, or you may bring your own. We will hike approximately 30 minutes and work off-trail on a rocky slope.

Please sign up on the Arizona-Sonoran Desert volunteer website: http://www.desertmuseum.org/buffelgrass/pullsitelist.php
