Kentucky Camp Rehabilitation Week

We are seeking volunteers for a week-long gathering at Kentucky Camp to tackle some of the projects that are too big for our regular monthly volunteer days. This event will be November 12-16. (Monday –Friday)

Accommodations are tent camping with access to our “five star” solar shower facilities or bring your camper or RV. Campers can arrive the weekend before to set-up camp.

Here are the projects we are planning:

· Replace a 100+ year-old wooden tongue-and-groove floor in the historic Headquarters building
· Apply sacrificial adobe coat to exterior walls of Gold Processing (and possibly other) adobe buildings
· Annual Fall maintenance of historic Iris bed

There will be plenty of non-work time for exploring the gold mining camp, hiking etc.
