Kentucky Camp Volunteer Day
May 11, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 2:00 pm
FreeHello Friends,
Our next volunteer day at Kentucky Camp is coming up this Friday, May 11th. We plan to be on-site at about 8:30AM. We have a number of fun projects lined-up:
1) Apply adobe coating to the Gold Processing Building. This coating helps prevent erosion of the historic adobe bricks from the wind and rain. On-the-job training will be provided for this simple and fun project.
2) Continue cleaning-out cleaning-out the tool room. Identify items to be thrown out or sold.
Bring a sack lunch. we should finish-up about 1PM.
With our new “public friendly” volunteer rules, please feel free to bring friends, family or anyone that might have an interest. There is no need to be a member of Friends of Kentucky Camp in order to participate.
There will be the usual carpool leaving for Kentucky Camp from Tucson at 7:30am from the Starbucks at the southwest corner of Kolb and 22nd…. contact Mark at doumas56@gmail.com or 520 990-8152 (voice and text) to let us know if you want to participate in the carpool. See the Friends of Kentucky Camp Camp website for more info and a map. http://www.kentuckycamp.org/
