Saturday, September 11 Perimeter Trail Build Day
Let’s keep building the Perimeter Trail! Join the American Conservation Experience (ACE) and the USFS Sierra Vista District for a volunteer build day. We’ll be meeting at the Lower Miller Canyon TH at 7AM and will work until noon or so (depending on the heat). No trail building experience is needed, and we’ll provide all the tools.

Where to Meet:
Lower Miller Canyon trailhead at 7:00 AM. From 92, head West on Miller Canyon Road for about a mile and you’ll see the TH on your left. It’s a large dirt lot with a kiosk and pit toilets. UTM coordinates are: 31.42634, -110.25774
What to Bring:
Volunteers need to bring work gloves, closed-toe shoes, water and snacks (min. 2 liters of water is required, more is encouraged), and appropriate sun protection (long sleeves and hats are encouraged). Please note that head protection will be required during the event. We’ll have loaner hard hats, but feel free to bring a bike helmet or hard hat if you have one.
