Saguaro NP Buffelgrass Pull

October 13, 2018 @ 7:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Help Preserve the Sonoran Desert by removing buffelgrass, an invasive grass that threatens native plant and wildlife populations.

Volunteers are needed to assist with buffelgrass pulls, held the second Saturday of each month, from September-May. We will spend about 4 hours of digging up buffelgrass.

Meet at the Rincon Mountain District Visitor Center (3693 S. Old Spanish Trail) at 7:00 a.m.

Bring a backpack with plenty of water. Long pants, long-sleeved shirt, and sturdy shoes are required. Broad-brimmed hat and sunscreen are recommended. Tools and gloves will be provided.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
