Meeting Location: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. We will meet in the breezeway of the Education Annex Building. It takes about half an hour to drive from downtown to the museum.
Buffelgrass pull location: 2021 N. Kinney Rd., Tucson, AZ 85743
Volunteers: 18 registered out of a total capacity of 40
Tools Provided: We have rock hammers, digging bars and gloves, but if you have your own you may bring them and let the leader know ahead of time.
Bring: Bring a full refillable water bottle (FULL) and a snack or lunch. We strongly encourage the use of non-disposable water bottles as a pro-environmental measure.
Wear: Wear good hiking shoes, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
Additional Information: If lost, contact Sonya Norman at 971-9335 on the day of the hike. Cell reception is spotty once we begin hiking. All may visit the Desert Museum for FREE afterwards.
