We are looking for community members to volunteer and support our wonderful Brown Canyon Ranch education program. Please join us at Brown Canyon Ranch on Thursday, July 11th from 9 a.m. to noon for our special mentor training for our Western Heritage Education. The Western Heritage Program is a time during September and October for fourth and fifth grade students from schools around the area to come to Brown Canyon and learn local history and take part in activity put on by the program volunteers.
Twelve mentor presenters will be sharing ranch skills, history, science observations, historic arts, water conservation, house tours, songs and poetry. Plan to learn old and new skills to share with others to keep culture and legacy alive. We are looking for substitutes and standby assistants to fill in as necessary.
Please bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, jeans, sturdy shoes and a sack lunch – and an inquiring mindset!

For more information, please visit our web site Brown Canyon Ranch.org

Hope to see you July 11, 2019 – 9am to noon.
