The Volunteer Coordinator is a volunteer position assisting the Forest Partnership and Volunteer Coordinator. The Volunteer Coordinator will assist the Coronado National Forest in implementing, tracking and improving a successful volunteer program. Some of the duties include tracking and reporting volunteer hours, activities, awards, and training; writing social media posts and content about volunteer projects and success stories; participating in volunteer activities at the various districts; developing a library of volunteer job descriptions and job risk assessments; and more.
Volunteer applicant should be familiar with MS Office and pass a background security clearance. We ask that volunteers contribute a minimum of 8 hours per month.
