Box Camp Trail Volunteer Event with Tucson Trail Runners
October 8 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
What: Help get Box Camp Trail into shape for fall. Brushing and very minor tread repair, approximately 2.5–4.5 miles from the trailhead. If you like hiking and cutting out vegetation, this will be a fun one for you. No large rocks or significant amount of dirt will be moved. There will be a good elevation climb on the way out, up to 2000 feet. Get a great workout and give back.
To help address impacts from the Bighorn Fire and two heavy monsoon seasons, as well as years of deferred maintenance, Tucson Trail Runners (TTR) and the National Forest Foundation (NFF) are working with Outslope Trail
Solutions and the Coronado National Forest, to make repairs on this trail
