Volunteer Vacation – Superstition Wilderness

The Superstition Mountains are one of the most legendary wilderness areas in Arizona, rugged, remote and hauntingly beautiful. The dramatic Arizona Trail in the Superstitions provides challenge to both hikers and trail workers. Difficult access, steep and rocky terrain and scarce water all make this place a real test of fortitude. The reward, however, is a wild beauty found nowhere else.

ATA Volunteer Vacations offer an opportunity to work side-by-side with others who share a love of nature and a passion for the Arizona Trail. Volunteers dig deep to learn about what it takes to make great trails and build a strong community. The people can be as wild as the settings.
